Highlights from the Irish Contact Centre and Shared Services Awards 2013

What a night!

Congratulations to all the award winners in this year's prestigious Irish Contact Centre and Shared Services Awards. CCMA's Irish Contact Centre and Shared Services Awards ceremony was held last Saturday night 16th November in the Burlington Hotel. This industry event was kindly sponsored by Interactive Intelligence and their Irish based partner Wren Data. The night proved to be a really great success and our sincere thanks goes to Dermot Whelan for being such a very entertaining host for the evening. The event was attended by Pat Rabbitte, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. This is the first awards event that we have had ministerial / government presence. This was very much seen as an acknowledgement at that level of the importance of the role and contribution that the Contact Centre and Shared Services Industry is making in Ireland, a point which Minister Rabbitte was keen to note on the night in his speech to attending guests. For the first time, we had a live video stream of the Awards ceremony and we were delighted that so many people logged on to watch the event live. We also had a live stream of Tweets throughout the awards ceremony and the response was fantastic, so much so that at one point we were Trending on Twitter in 4th position which is truly a great result.
